Situated a short drive away from the central Reception area, these charming units are thatched, with wooden balconies and decking, and blend seamlessly into the bushveld environment, but with an eye to comfort and privacy.

OUR UNITS

INYATI & NDLOVU

This pair of semi-detached units have the same architecture with similar features and furnishings, but each has its own outlook. Inyati and Ndlovu are west-facing, in a sunny position overlooking the golf course, and surrounded by open lawns and beds of succulents. Across the road, Mkhumbi and Imvubu have a shadier outlook with tall trees and a small dam.

In all four units the en-suite master bedroom is upstairs with a private balcony and its own TV. The two bedrooms on the ground floor have single beds, en-suite bathrooms and one of the bedrooms opens out onto the main deck. The very well equipped kitchen is open plan to the compact dining and living area. All decks/patios have a built-in braai/barbeque area with table and chairs.

While completely private, these units are easily combined, if required, as there is a gate between the adjoining   patios. Two families/friends, or one large family, could comfortably be accommodated in either 608 A&B or 610 A&B with a maximum of 12 people.

OUR LODGES

NGALA & INGWE

These two large, luxurious lodges have similar features. They both have three bedrooms and three full bathrooms, two of which are en-suite. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, while the others each have two large single beds.

The very well equipped kitchen is open-plan to the comfortable lounge and dining area which in turn leads out onto a spacious patio.  The comfortable furnishings on the patio, together with a built-in braai/barbeque, make for comfortable outdoor living and the opportunity to enjoy the prolific birdlife and wildlife. (The KPL resident herd of impala are frequent visitors).

Both lodges, which look towards the eighth fairway of the golf course, are enhanced by indigenous trees, well maintained lawns and a small dam.

“The place is amazing, close to all attractions. On our arrival, we had a few issues, but they were quickly sorted by Joey. She was available and very attentive. This space is value for money. The unit is at the back, it’s quiet and very private. It’s exactly as advertised: Spacious and open. We had a lovely, peaceful time.”

“Beautiful house close to the Kruger National park. Friendly host and a great outdoor bbq area. There is a beautiful pond close to the house. There are, however, some frogs making a lot of noise at night. But other than that, this house is awesome. Would highly recommend it!”

“The Kruger Park Gate Lodge unit 608a is exactly as depicted in the pictures. The apartment is home away from home. We were only 4 adults and a baby, the apartment is perfect for 6 adults. The check in process was very easy. Joey made all arrangements upfront so on arrival there was no waiting or lag time. The unit is located on the golf course. The faculty has a beautiful restuarant which provides great meals. Loved the hippo pool and the river which runs through the facility. The sound of water was so relaxing. The lodge also have wild life so really a pleasure to wake up to such surroundings 🙂 We used the location as a based and travelled to Kruger National Park which is literally 10 min away. We also visited some of the surrounding areas like Sabie. Our stay was short, only 3 nights. We will definitely return and extend the stay as there is so much to do in the area. Thank you Joey for a great experience and for always being available.”

Tour The Panorama Route

No trip to Mpumalanga and the Kruger National Park would be complete without a trip through the world-famous panorama route.

This scenic drive offers views of waterfalls, rolling grasslands and breathtaking views from atop God’s Window. The Blyde River Canyon is the second largest canyon in Africa, the third largest canyon in the world, and perhaps the largest green canyon in the world. It is strewn with 1800s gold rush history along the way. The highest point of the canyon, Mariepskop, is 1,944 metres (6,378 ft) above sea level, whilst its lowest point, where the river leaves the canyon. is slightly less than 561 metres (1,841 ft) above sea level. This means that by some measure the canyon is 1,383 metres (4,537 ft) deep.
